BIBLE VERSE OF THE WEEK

At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,

And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.

Matthew 18: 1-5

David Parker has e-mailed me a great resource for a page on salvation I want to build. It is a link to a Questions and Answers webiste and although I have not checked out the site fully with regard to their doctrine, I intend to do that soon. As soon as I get their permission, I will post their explanation of the Roman Road.

Any other contributions or links such asd this will be welcome. I can't promise to publish everything but I will try.

Who We Are

We are a moderate size church located in Old Hickory, Tennessee. We have a heart for fellowship and have been told by many visitors that we are one of the friendliest churches that they have visited. We think the size of our church is ideal for those who want to do more than just show up a few times a week and listen to a sermon
and go home till the next time. We have fellowship activities that bring our members close together, in a more intimate atmosphere. We promote the active participation of every member in whatever ministry suits
them.
With each new member we add to our outreach program. We currently have members involved in oversea mission trips and regional disaster relief work. We have outreach ministries that serve the local community throught the local Christian Outreach Center and Thrift Store as well as trips to the local rescue mission for the homeless to assist the chaplin in presenting God's gift of Salvation as part of the nightly service. There is a place of service for everyone who wants to participate.

Although we have several ministry activities, we need God's people to help us reach out to even more people in need in our community. We are in the planning stages of many other activities. Join us as we explore together, the joy in serving God as we serve others
